Is it too late to make a New Year’s Resolution on Jan. 8?
Even though it may be past the time when many people start breaking their resolutions, today I am setting as a goal — resolving, if you will — to reach 100,000 page views on this blog in 2013. As I type, the number stands at just a bit over 41,000. That means I have to entice enough of you to check this place out 59,000 times between now and Dec. 31.
To paraphrase one of my former high school football coaches, I guess I “better get red hot.”

That’s one way of looking at it, Lori. And it ought to be a doable goal. At the pace of the past eight days, I would be at 50,000 to 55,000 for 2013 by the end of the year. That would get me close to 100,000.
The best month I had last year was 8,657 page views. My goal would be pretty easy to beat if I could manage to do that every month.
if we reply on holidays does that count double? 🙂
I guess so. I’m not sure what the rules are. Maybe someone else will know if WordPress has a rules committee to which we can defer.
