Downton Abbey — chalk it up as yet another hot trend that has passed me by. Based on my Facebook page and Twitter feed, it seems as if I am the only person I know who isn’t watching this show on PBS. I prefer to think of it as proof that I’m not as liberal as some of my more conservative friends think. But the mere fact that I’ve even heard of the show is probably all the proof some of them need.

Dang, I first read it as “Downtown Abbey.” Again. Maybe that’s why I’ve never watched it. I’ve never been a fan of things downtown.
Actually, I made the same mistake. Did it more than once, in fact. And didn’t stop until someone else pointed out my error.
Well, we don’t watch it either…but we watch enough inane comedies to make up for it, I guess.
Who would want to watch a show that glorified the evil 1%’ers?
Add me to the list of those who have never watched Downton Abbey. Maybe I will sometime, not that I really need anything else to get hooked on.
Watched it last Sunday for the first time. I guess I could eventually get into it but I’m like the one person said, I don’t really want to get hooked on having to watch something week after week.
Becky, I’m pretty sure you couldn’t sit still long enough to get hooked on watching something on TV every week. 🙂
