Once upon a time, the analytics Word Press provides for this website wouldn’t have interested me much. But I am finishing a degree in analytics so let’s take a look at the data from last week.
According to Word Press, the most-popular day last week for this tiny slice of the Internet was Friday, when it had 87 visitors and 124 page views. The most-popular hour of the day for this site last week was 6 p.m. Eat your heart out, Rush Limbaugh was the most-popular post for the week, which is why I’m coming to you again today via digital video. If it was successful once, maybe it will work again, right?
I’m still not sure I was meant to be in front of a camera — any camera. But I am often wrong.
It’s going to be a big week around here. We’re finishing work this week on that aforementioned master’s degree. And I get to hit the road for work for the first time since March 2. That is exciting and kind of scary all at the same time. (Note to self: Wear a mask, wash my hands a lot, maintain social distance when possible and Lysol the heck out of the rental car and the hotel room.)
For today, I’ll end with this from Jeremiah 22:3: This is what the Lord says: Be fair-minded and just. Do what is right! Help those who have been robbed; rescue them from their oppressors. Quit your evil deeds! Do not mistreat foreigners, orphans, and widows. Stop murdering the innocent!
If right to life is important to you, you may be quick to seize on the last sentence of this verse. I wouldn’t say you’re wrong, but the verse goes well beyond one thought. I’m going to use it as a reminder to be fair, just, helpful, less evil and kind to those who aren’t exactly like me.

Hi Chris. I enjoy your blog, and I am glad you are back to regular posting. I recall that you set yourself a goal of posting here regularly, so congratulations. I am impressed by your discipline. Doing this is far more difficult than it may appear to some.
Thanks, Keith. I have what I think might be five or six books I’d like to write. And I’m trying to use this time and the blog to become disciplined enough to write maybe 500 words a day. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time. For about the past year, I’ve been thinking the time I have used for studying the past two years could be used to blog/write books. If I keep talking about it, I figure I might actually make it happen.
