Muscatine Fire Department Assistant Chief Mike Hartman, left, and Chief Jerry Ewers, right, show a new trailer to Jim Miller, a member of the Muscatine Kiwanis Club. The club donated $800 to the Youth Sports Foundation, which Miller directs. The foundation then bought the trailer for $1,100 and gave it to the fire department. The department will use the trailer to haul an emergency all-terrain vehicle to locations that might be too far away or otherwise not accessible.
