At least some of my friends really dig food porn, based on my observations of what they post on Facebook.
Especially during the holidays, there was a steady stream of photos of food prepared and consumed by my friends. And, of course, much of it looked like it had been prepared on a set at the Food Network.
Well, we’ll have none of that here. For proof, I offer up this attempt at pigs in a blanket. Before you laugh too hard, let me just say: They actually tasted pretty good. And at least I didn’t go hungry.

An aside: Among the lessons I learned in 2013 is the difference between friends and acquaintances. That’s a lesson I resolve to remember in 2014 and beyond.
