Room Rater (@ratemyskyperoom) is my new favorite thing on Twitter.
As much as I like it, however, it makes me grateful beyond words to be a regular guy who isn’t using Zoom to make TV appearances.

I’ve been using Zoom for the MBA program I will finish next month at Loras College. For two years, I have met on Tuesday nights via Zoom with a dozen other students and our professors. Thanks to the pandemic, Zoom also has become a regular part of my day job. Like millions of others, it likely will be a part of my work life for the foreseeable future.
But I hadn’t given much thought to what the room looked like behind me until I started following Room Rater. No books. No plants. The camera angle isn’t very good. It looks like I have some work to do.
Maybe I could get some bonus points, though, thanks to my cat.
