There are two norms when it comes to household repairs.
The first is Norm Abram, the master carpenter on the PBS television series, “This Old House.” He lives with his wife in a home that he built in Massachusetts.
The second is Norm Peterson, the loveable character played in the 1980s and ’90s by actor George Wendt on the TV series, “Cheers.” He basically lived at a bar and the threat of running low on beer worried him more than home repairs.
