And another thing: I wasn’t even a year old when Paul McCartney and John Lennon wrote “With a Little Help from My Friends,” which the Beatles recorded in 1967 on “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.”
But I can’t help but think of this song after eating dinner last night at The Elms with a bunch of my friends from the Melon City Bike Club. They are the greatest and they’ve been even better friends this week. And just remember, guys, RAGBRAI is only 141 days away.
Quote of the Day: If you obey all the rules you miss all the fun. Katharine Hepburn, American actress (1907-2003)
Glad you went last night. Also- that song has been on my mind a lot over the past few months. 🙂
Gonna bike and blog at the same time? If so, you will become THE embedded reporter to follow for RAGBRAI incidents and insights.
What happens on RAGBRAI stays on RAGBRAI. Well, I might tweet a few times. But definitely won’t be blogging or doing anything very close to reporting.
