Two of area’s fastest bicyclists joined the 6:30 indoor cycling class Monday night at the Muscatine Community Y.
All I can say is I hope Bill Ford and Jon Sulzberger weren’t too bored by the experience. My leading them in a cycling class would be like if Hulk Hogan tried to teach Robert De Niro how to act or the world’s heaviest man offered diet tips to Richard Simmons.
After Monday night’s class, I’m thinking of teaching a class on poetry and asking Maya Angelou if she would like to enroll or a class on broadcasting for Oprah just in case she’d like to take a refresher course.
And if I fail at all of that, maybe Greg Harper will decide to join his buddies, Ford and Sulzberger, next Monday night at the Y.
If Greg’s not available, I’m hoping maybe Lance Armstrong will decide to show up.
